Luke Thompson will lead the fourth season of Bridgerton as our favorite bohemian son Benedict, and he’ll be in pretty good company. Halo star Yerin Ha has been tapped to play his love interest Sophie Beckett in Season 4 of Netflix’s hit period drama.

Based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel An Offer From a Gentleman, the show’s next season will turn attention to Benedict Bridgerton. After years of refusing to settle down, Benedict will finally change his tune after meeting the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.

Netflix is yet to share any details about this character, but Quinn’s novel introduced her as a young woman of a humble background dreaming of freedom and independence. She’s the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy earl, who failed to acknowledge her after having an inappropriate relationship with one of his maids.

Yerin Ha will lead Season 4 alongside Luke Thompson, while Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlin, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hannah Dodd are expected to reprise their roles.

Ha’s list of previous TV credits is pretty short, but impressive, and includes shows Halo, Troppo, and Bad Behaviour. She’ll soon appear in another high-profile series, HBO’s Dune: Prophecy.
