We’ve seen many of Hollywood’s biggest stars appear on Black Mirror, and the list is getting longer by the day. Netflix unveiled the cast of the upcoming seventh season, which will include Issa Rae, Awkwafina, Emma Corrin, Rashida Jones, and many more acclaimed actors.

Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker dropped some hints about Season 7 during Netflix’s Geeked Week. He promised it would go to the show’s roots and feature a mix of deeply unpleasant, quite funny, and emotional stories.

“It’s back to basics in many ways. They’re all sci-fi stories, but there’s definitely some horrifying things that occur, but maybe not in an overt horror-movie way. There’s definitely some disturbing content in it,” said Brooker.

Season 7 cast has also been announced by Netflix, and it will include some of Hollywood’s biggest names, starting with Rae (Insecure), Awkwafina (The Farewell), Corrin (The Crown), and Jones (Parks and Recreation). Several actors from the show’s acclaimed episode USS Callister will return for its sequel, including Billy Magnussen, Jimmi Simpson, Cristin Milioti, and Milanka Brooks.

The cast of the show’s next season will also include Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Paul Giamatti (The Holdovers), Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish), Chris O’Dowd (The Big Door Prize), Patsy Ferran (Life After Life), Lewis Gribben (Somewhere Boy), Osy Ikhile (Citadel), Siena Kelly (Adult Material), Rosy McEwen (The Alienist), Harriet Walter (Succession), and Paul G. Raymond (Horrible Histories). They’ll star across six new episodes, set to premiere in 2025.
