The Golden Globe Awards are one of Hollywood’s biggest nights, and we finally know who’ll make fun of our favorite celebrities at the next ceremony. Nikki Glaser will be in charge of hosting the Golden Globes on CBS this January.
Helen Hoehne, president of the Golden Globes, announced Glaser as the next host and described her as “a comedic powerhouse”. She said her daring and unfiltered humor is the perfect match for this ceremony, adding she’s sure to bring a unique energy and spontaneity to the show that will keep the audience entertained all night.
Glaser said that she’s absolutely thrilled to land this dream job and enjoy one of her favorite nights of television from a front-row seat.
“The Golden Globes is not only a huge night for TV and film, but also for comedy. Some of my favorite jokes of all time have come from past Golden Globes opening monologues when Tina, Amy, or Ricky have said exactly what we all didn’t know we desperately needed to hear,” she said in a statement.
The 2025 Golden Globes nominations will be announced on December 9, while the ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on January 5, 2025.
