The mockumentary series What We Do in the Shadows has been renewed by FX for Season 3.

The series is based on the film of the same name by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, which documents the nightly exploits of four vampires who have lived together in Staten Island for hundreds of years. Among them are Nandor The Relentless (Kayvan Novak), a great warrior and conqueror of the Ottoman Empire, British vampire Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) who’s Laszlo’s lover, and Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch). There’s also Nando’s familiar Guillermo (Harvey Guillén), who wishes to be a real vampire.

“We’re incredibly happy that critics and audiences are all in on ‘Shadows,’” said the president of original programming for FX Entertainment, Nick Grad. “Week in and week out, the producers, writers, and our amazing cast continue to make one of the funniest and best comedy series on TV.”

Currently the series is in the second season with the finale set to air on June 10.
