USA Network Cancels “Dare Me”

Marlo Kelly and Herizen F. Guardiola in "Dare Me"

USA Network has canceled the cheerleader drama after one season only.

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that here will not be a second season of Dare Me.

The series delved into the cutthroat world of competitive high school cheerleading. It followed the fraught relationship between two best friends after a new coach arrived to bring their team to prominence. While the girls’ friendship is put to the test, their young lives are changed forever when a shocking crime rocks their quiet suburban world.

Dare Me was based on the novel of the same name by Megan Abbott, who also served as writer and executive producer on the series.

Dare Me starred Willa Fitzgerald, Herizen Guardiola, Marlo Kelly, Rob Heaps, and Paul Fitzgerald.
