TV Series Based On Alex Cross is In the Works

After appearing in two films, James Patterson’s character could be heading to the small screen. 

Multiple outlets report that Amazon is currently developing an Alex Cross television series. 

The bestselling novels follow Cross who works as a detective, FBI agent, and psychologist in Washington DC. It is not known yet which novels would be adapted for TV. The series currently consists of 29 books. 

Patterson and Bill Robinson will executive produce alongside David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Marcy Ross. 

Patterson’s character already made its feature debut with Morgan Freeman playing Cross in Kiss the Girls in 1997 and Along Came a Spider in 2001.
