It is almost time to return to Pride Rock.
Disney’s venture to remake its animated classics into live-action versions means that we will soon be journeying to Africa.
The live-action installment of 1994’s The Lion King is hitting cinemas in July, and to get us even more excited than we already are, Disney has released new posters of the characters.
The film has been created using CGI and is directed by Jon Favreau, who also helmed The Jungle Book, which used similar visual effects.
The new posters show exactly how each character will look in the remake, along with the names of the actors who will be voicing them.
In addition, Disney has also released a new TV spot that depicts a classic scene from the film and the familiar voice of James Earl Jones saying, “You must remember who you are, the one true king.”
The Circle of Life continues on July 19th.
