The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is coming back for Season 5 this spring, but this will also mark its final chapter. Amazon just dropped the first trailer for the show’s fifth season, which shows Midge Maisel finally reaching for the stars in the world of stand-up comedy.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel follows the trials and tribulations of a young housewife Midge Maisel, whose life turns upside down after her divorce. After discovering she has a knack for stand-up comedy, Midge decides to try and build a career in the male-dominated comedy scene of the early 60s.

“It’s two steps forward, three steps back, and I’m tired of it,” she tells her agent Susie in the trailer for Season 5, which will see her find herself closer than ever to the success she’s dreamed of, only to discover that closer than ever is still so far away.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stars Rachel Brosnahan in the titular role, while the rest of the ensemble includes Alex Borstein, Michael Zegen, Marin Hinkle, Tony Shalhoub, Kevin Pollak, Caroline Aaron, and Luke Kirby.

Season 5 of the Emmy-winning comedy series will return to Amazon Prime Video on April 14. Following its three-episode premiere, the remaining six episodes will air weekly.
