There are just a few days left in 2019 and now that the year is almost over, we’d like to take a look at which film were box office successes.

Overall, 2019 was not a great year for films as box office sales are down nearly 4.6% or $11.88 billion; the biggest drop in half a decade, according to Variety. You may be wondering what’s responsible for this huge drop?

Well, it’s partly due to the fact that fans have lost interest in all the reboots and franchises. Even though the box office didn’t fare well in 2019, there were definitely some highs throughout the year. These were the most successful films at the box office in 2019.
