Brad Pitt’s Formula 1 movie has been a long time coming, and we finally have all the details about this project. Its first teaser trailer is one wild ride, and it reveals this film will be titled F1, in addition to announcing it’s hitting the theatres next summer.

F1 centers on a former Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes, whose promising career came to a halt during the 90s after a horrible crash. He gets a second shot at fame after the owner of the fictional APXGP team asks him to mentor a racing prodigy Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris).

The supporting cast of F1 includes Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, Samson Kayo, and Shea Whigham. Since this film was shot during many official Formula 1 events, several racing stars will make an appearance, starting with Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.

In addition to making a cameo, the seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton has also been involved in many other aspects of the film. He’ll be credited as one of the producers along with director Joseph Kosinski, plus Brad Pitt, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner.

F1 will be released internationally on June 25, 2025, before hitting the theaters in North America on June 27, 2025.
