The post-apocalyptic drama is coming to an end.

The CW confirms that season 7 of The 100 will be its last. The news was announced by network President, Mark Pedowitz at the TCA summer press tour.

Series creator Jason Rothenberg also confirmed the news, writing on social media: “With #The100 Season 6 finale just days away, I have some bittersweet news to share: Season 7 will be our last. We are eternally grateful to WB & CW for always allowing us to tell our story the way we want to & to wrap the show on our terms. What an incredible ride this has been!”

“We’ve been very good at listening to our showrunner creators about the right time to end our series,” Pedowitz added.

The post-apocalyptic drama followed a group of survivors fighting to survive against all odds. Inspired by the young adult novels by Kass Morgan, it starred Eliza Taylor, Paige Turco, Bob Morley, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Shannon Kook, JR Bourne, and Tasya Teles.
