The CW is working on the new series about Rickie Lee Jones.
The forthcoming scripted series, which is in very early stages of development, is based on the life of the singer-songwriter.
The new project titled The Horses was revealed by The CW President Mark Pedowitz. According to Deadline, the announcement followed a reporter’s question about potential successors of its popular female-lead series Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, during the network’s TCA executive session.
According to the outlet, the project is still looking for a writer.
