The Latin music superstar has joined the cast of Fast & Furious 9.
Multiple outlets confirm that the singer turned actor has signed with Hollywood agency UTA quickly after landing his first gig. According to Variety, he’s also in talks to join the film’s soundtrack.
The ninth installment in the fast speed franchise will be directed by Fast & Furious 6 helmer Justin Lin. Lin is set to direct from a script by Dan Casey based on an original idea by Lin himself and Alfredo Botello.
Vin Diesel is returning as Dominic Toretto. He’ll be joined by other original stars as well as newcomers including John Cena and Charlize Theron.
