Fast and Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw just got a new trailer and it could hardly be better than this.
While the first trailer offered a vague introduction into the plot and characters, the new one gives fans a better insight into the story of the movie while also promising lots of action, fast cars, and things blowing up.
Directed by David Leitch, Hobbs & Shaw will see Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham reprising their Fast and Furious characters Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw respectively. The story of the movie sees Hobbs and Shaw teaming up to stop a genetically enhanced international terrorist Brixton Lore (Idris Elba).

Hobbs & Shaw will officially hit the theaters on August 2, 2019. There is no indication that other Fast and Furious stars are set to reprise their roles in the movie except Johnson, Statham and Helen Mirren, who will return as Deckard Shaw’s mother Magdalene. Other members of the cast include Vanessa Kirby, Eddie Marsan, Eiza Gonzalez, Leati Joseph Anoaʻi, Cliff Curtis, Josh Mauga, and John Tui.
