The latest season of House of the Dragon may be over, but HBO has many amazing new shows on the horizon. They dropped a new promo clip teasing what’s to come during the rest of the 2024/2025 TV season, giving us a glimpse of new chapters of the award-winning shows The White Lotus and The Last of Us.
The White Lotus will finally return for its long-awaited third season next year, and the new teaser takes us to Thailand. We’ll be reunited with Natasha Rothwell’s fan-favorite character Belinda, but Parker Posey, Jason Isaacs, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook, and Sam Nivola will also make an appearance.
The Last of Us teaser introduces us to Catherine O’Hara’s mysterious character, who questions Joel’s (Pedro Pascal) intentions toward Ellie (Bella Ramsey). The final scene of HBO’s promo clip sees her asking Joel, “Did you hurt her?” before several scenes from the new season appear on the screen, and he eventually tearfully replies, “I saved her.”
Industry, My Brilliant Friend, Harley Quinn, The S-x Lives of College Girls, And Just Like That, and The Gilded Age are also among the shows returning to HBO and Max in upcoming months, along with several newcomers. HBO’s promo clip offers the first glimpse of It: Welcome to Derry and Game of Thrones spin-off A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, in addition to featuring footage from The Penguin, Dune: Prophecy, and The Franchise.
