Sight Unseen Pictures has nabbed the rights to Bess Kalb’s Nobody Will Tell You This But Me.

The film adaptation of the recently released memoir will be helmed by Elizabeth Chomko who will direct from a screenplay penned by Kalb, the Emmy-nominated and Writers Guild award-winning writer.

According to Deadline, the story centers on Kalb’s relationship with her grandmother Bobby Bell. Bobby doted on Bess and Bess adored Bobby. Then, at ninety, Bobby died. With humor and poignancy, Bess Kalb gives us proof of the special bond that can skip a generation and endure beyond death.

Chomko made her directorial debut with What They Had starring Hilary Swank.
