Popular musician Ed Sheeran is reportedly currently in talks over a possible role in a movie directed by Danny Boyle about a man who discovers he’s the only one who can remember Beatles-themed music.

Sheeran is friends with the writer of the movie, Richard Curtis, and is set to contribute music to the movie’s soundtrack as well as make a cameo appearance.

Boyle is set to be the director of the next James Bond movie but will focus on wrapping up this project before he turns his attention to 007.

This will not be Sheeran’s first time acting. He notably made an appearance on Game of Thrones.

Sheeran is a Beatles fan and this will present him with an opportunity to pay homage to some of his role models who also happen to be British music legends.

A source connected with the production told the Daily Mail: “Everything Ed touches turns to gold. He is the biggest hitmaker on the planet. If anyone can make a film about the Beatles songs even better musically, it’s him.”
