Brittany Snow has been tapped to star in Fox’s adaptation of the Australian series Sisters.
The Pitch Perfect alum has been cast as the female lead of the still-untitled project from Annie Weisman and Jason Katims (The Path). Weisman will write and executive produce the pilot and Katims will exec produce.
The series follows only child Julia Bechley (Snow)as she discovers that that her father, a pioneering Nobel Prize-winning fertility doctor, used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children over the course of his career. Julia discovers that among the sea of new brothers, she only has two sisters — her former best friend and an ex-Olympic athlete, and the three women quickly become a part of a new untraditional family.
The Australian series starred Maria Angelico. The first season premiered in October 2017. It was then launched on Netflix in September 2018.
Snow’s other TV credits include American Dreams, Nip/Tuck, and Guiding Light.
