After rocking our world with her performance as Captain Marvel, Brie Larson is set to join another action-packed blockbuster. The Oscar-winning actress will play a key role in the upcoming Fast & Furious 10, set to be released in 2023.

Her casting has been announced by the film’s leading man Vin Diesel, who shared a photo alongside Larson on his social media channels and welcomed her to the franchise.

“You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie,” wrote Diesel.

Larson is best known for playing Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel in the MCU, but she also received an Oscar for her performance in Room, and starred in critically acclaimed films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Short Term 12, and The Glass Castle. We’ll next get to see her return as Captain Marvel in The Marvels.

She will play an undisclosed role in Fast & Furious 10, joining Jason Momoa and Daniela Melchior, who are also newcomers to the franchise. The film is scheduled to be released on May 19, 2023, and it will be followed by another sequel.
