After going strong for seven seasons, Grace and Frankie earned the title of Netflix’s longest-running show, but its ending is almost here. The final episodes of this beloved series are set to premiere later this month, and the streamer just gave us a taste of things to come.

The first look photos of the final episodes of Grace and Frankie are here, but Season 7 already had its premiere back in August. Four episodes were filmed before Covid restrictions came in the way, and the remaining twelve are set to premiere on Netflix on April 29.

Creators Marta Kauffman and Howard J. Morris set down with Entertainment Weekly to discuss the final season of the show and said it’s a miracle they made it this far.

“If you had said three seasons, we would’ve said, ‘Oh, that’s about right.’ Our actors were already well into their seventies when we started, and so we thought that was a great goal. And then you add a pandemic and 94 episodes? So it’s just, it’s almost a miracle, I think,” said Morris.

Grace and Frankie premiered on Netflix in 2014 and followed a journey of two divorcées, who form a special bond after their husbands leave them to be with each other. In addition to titular stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, the cast includes Sam Waterston, Martin Sheen, Brooklyn Decker, Ethan Embry, June Diane Raphael, and Baron Vaughn.
