“Bill & Ted” Sequel Adds To Its Cast

Keanu Reeves, Terry Camilleri, Amy Stoch, and Alex Winter in "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure"

Original franchise stars Amy Stoch and Hal Landon Jr. have joined the forthcoming Bill & Ted sequel. They are joined by newcomers Beck Bennett, Jayma Mays and Erinn Hayes.

According to Variety, Stoch and Landon will reprise their original roles as Missy and Ted’s father, police chief Chet Logan, respectively. Bennett will round out the Logan family, starring as Deacon, Ted’s younger brother.

The four additions will star opposite Keanu Reeves as Ted “Theodore” Logan and Alex Winter in the role of Bill S. Preston in the Dean Parisot-helmed Bill & Tedd Face the Music. Parisot will direct from a script by original creators Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon.

The film follows the now middle-aged would-be rockers who are still trying to crank out a hit song and fulfill their destiny. “With the fabric of time and space tearing around them, a visitor from the future warns that only their tune can save life as we know it — forcing the duo to set out on a time-travel adventure to find inspiration for the song.”

Bill & Ted Face the Music hits cinemas August 21st, 2020.
