It looks like Marvel’s upcoming superhero movie Avengers: Endgame will be an emotional experience for the fans in more ways than one. The movie will not only represent a turning point for Marvel Cinematic Universe but it will likely feature the final cameo appearance of late comic book legend Stan Lee.

During a recent press tour in India, Avengers: Endgame co-director Joe Russo spoke about his experience working with Stan Lee and revealed that he thinks Lee’s final cameo in MCU will be in his movie.

“I believe that his final cameo is in Endgame.” – Russo said. “I don’t remember if he was well enough to do the cameo in Spiderman: [Far From Home].”

“But it was incredible to work with him.” – he added. “I grew up on his comic books. Stan Lee was an idol of mine as a kid. To be able to have the opportunity to not only to work under the material he created but to work with him is a childhood dream come true.”

Marvel fans hoped that Stan Lee will also appear in Spiderman: Far From Home, which is set for release in July, considering the fact that Spiderman is arguably his most famous creation. Despite Russo’s comments, we won’t know the truth until the movie actually lands in theaters. Until then, all we can do is hope Marvel is planning a special surprise for us.
