Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher will return as the Four Horsemen, along with Morgan Freeman, and they’ll be joined by Rosamund Pike, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt.
Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson confirmed they’re plotting another sequel at CinemaCon, with Ruben Fleischer returning as a director.
“We were so happy with the director’s cut, we’re already developing the next chapter. We can’t wait for audiences to discover what he’s done with the third film, and thrilled he’ll be making even more magic with us,” said Fogelson.
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will be released by Lionsgate on November 14.

]]>After months of speculations about Mendes’ The Beatles films, the Oscar-winning director took the stage at Sony’s CinemaCon presentation to share some details about this project. He said he’s been trying to make a film about the Fab Four for years because they changed his understanding of music, and he considers them “the most significant band of all time.”
Mendes was joined by the star-studded cast of the four films – Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon. Rumors of their casting have been circling around for months, but this was the first time they officially confirmed them.
The principal photography on The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event will take a year, and all four films are set for an April 2028 release. Sam Mendes described the four films as “the first bingable theatrical experience” and promised that each film will give us a chance to understand them more deeply.

]]>Conclave managed to beat tough competition in Anora, A Complete Unknown, Emilia Pérez, and Wicked to win a coveted prize for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture. Individual acting awards in the film categories went to Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Demi Moore (The Substance), Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain), and Zoe Saldaña (Emilia Pérez).
After dominating the Golden Globes and Critics’ Choice Awards, Shōgun topped the list of winners at the SAG Awards, as well. Its stars Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai won accolades for their lead performances, while the entire cast of this historical drama shared the prize for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a drama series.
Only Murders in the Building led the way on the comedy side with a total of two trophies, including outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series and outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series for Martin Short.
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards returned to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on February 23, with Kristen Bell hosting the festivities.

]]>Emilia Pérez will be in the running in most of the main categories at the Academy Awards, starting with the coveted best picture prize. Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked are also vying for the top award at the Oscars.
In addition to the best picture, the hit crime musical is also competing in several more major categories, such as best director (Jacques Audiard), best leading actress (Karla Sofía Gascón), and best supporting actress (Zoe Saldaña).
The hit musical Wicked and the period drama The Brutalist will also enter the Oscars as the top contenders after scoring 10 nods each. They’re closely followed by the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and the Papal mystery thriller Conclave with eight nominations each.
The 2025 Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, with Conan O’Brien hosting the ceremony for the first time.

According to previous reports, Season 3 will include a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, and a couple of mothers, and the first teaser introduces us to some of these characters.
HBO’s new promo clip also teases the return of Natasha Rothwell’s spa manager Belinda from Season 1, who’s looking for a fresh start while on an exchange program in Thailand. She’ll be joined by Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Tayme Thapthimthong, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, and Blackpink’s Lisa.

After the last show ended its run in 2021, O’Brien has been hosting a podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, in addition to recently starring in the travel show Conan O’Brien Must Go.
O’Brien announced his hosting duties in a humorous manner, saying, “America demanded it and now it’s happening: Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I’m hosting the Oscars.” This will mark his first time serving as the Oscars host, but this is familiar ground for O’Brien, who hosted several award shows in the past, including the Emmy Awards in 2002 and 2006.
The 97th Academy Awards will return to the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, 2025. The Academy will announce the nominations on January 17, 2025.

Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Jackie Tohn, and Sherry Cola are also a part of the show’s ensemble cast.
Nobody Wants This is loosely based on the life of its creator Erin Foster. She served as showrunner of the show’s first season with Craig DiGregorio, but they’ll be replaced by the Girls duo Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan in Season 2.
“I am excited beyond belief to be a part of Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, created by the hilarious Erin Foster. It is such a unique and beautiful show, and I am already having the best time working on it,” said Kaplan in a a statement.
Nobody Wants This debuted on September 26 with all ten episodes and quickly topped Netflix’s list of the top ten English TV shows.

]]>Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux, Pablo Larraín’s Maria, and Luca Guadagnino’s Queer were some of the films competing for the Golden Lion in Venice. This award eventually went to Almodóvar’s The Room Next Door, the tale of two women who were close friends in their youth, who meet again after years of being out of touch.
It was also a festival to remember for Nicole Kidman, who won the Volpi Cup for best actress for her performance in Babygirl, while Vincent Lindon won the Volpi Cup for best actor for The Quiet Son.
Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist was honored with the Silver Lion, while Maura Delpero’s Vermiglio walked away with the Grand Jury Prize. Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement went to the Australian filmmaker Peter Weir (Dead Poets Society, The Truman Show) and the Alien star Sigourney Weaver.
The 2024 Venice Film Festival took place between August 28 and September 7, with French actress Isabelle Huppert serving as the jury president.

]]>Based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel An Offer From a Gentleman, the show’s next season will turn attention to Benedict Bridgerton. After years of refusing to settle down, Benedict will finally change his tune after meeting the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Netflix is yet to share any details about this character, but Quinn’s novel introduced her as a young woman of a humble background dreaming of freedom and independence. She’s the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy earl, who failed to acknowledge her after having an inappropriate relationship with one of his maids.
Yerin Ha will lead Season 4 alongside Luke Thompson, while Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlin, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hannah Dodd are expected to reprise their roles.
Ha’s list of previous TV credits is pretty short, but impressive, and includes shows Halo, Troppo, and Bad Behaviour. She’ll soon appear in another high-profile series, HBO’s Dune: Prophecy.

Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed the show will end in Season 3, which will chronicle the fierce clash between Seong Gi-hun and the Front Man.
“I am thrilled to see the seed that was planted in creating a new Squid Game grow and bear fruit through the end of this story. We’ll do our best to make sure we bring you yet another thrill ride. I hope you’re excited for what’s to come,” wrote Hwang Dong-hyuk in a statement.
Lee Jung-jae is returning in Season 2 alongside Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo, and they’ll be joined by Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.

]]>Emilia Pérez will be in the running in most of the main categories at the Academy Awards, starting with the coveted best picture prize. Anora, The Brutalist, A Complete Unknown, Conclave, Dune: Part Two, I’m Still Here, Nickel Boys, The Substance, and Wicked are also vying for the top award at the Oscars.
In addition to the best picture, the hit crime musical is also competing in several more major categories, such as best director (Jacques Audiard), best leading actress (Karla Sofía Gascón), and best supporting actress (Zoe Saldaña).
The hit musical Wicked and the period drama The Brutalist will also enter the Oscars as the top contenders after scoring 10 nods each. They’re closely followed by the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown and the Papal mystery thriller Conclave with eight nominations each.
The 2025 Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, with Conan O’Brien hosting the ceremony for the first time.

]]>Each season of The White Lotus takes us to a new resort and centers on the exploits of its guests and employees over a span of a week. According to previous reports, Season 3 will include a patriarch, a female corporate executive, an actress, and a couple of mothers, and the first teaser introduces us to some of these characters.
HBO’s new promo clip also teases the return of Natasha Rothwell’s spa manager Belinda from Season 1, who’s looking for a fresh start while on an exchange program in Thailand. She’ll be joined by Parker Posey, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb, Tayme Thapthimthong, Carrie Coon, Scott Glenn, Francesca Corney, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Nivola, and Blackpink’s Lisa.
Season 3 of The White Lotus will premiere on February 16, 2025, and it will feature a total of eight brand-new episodes.

]]>O’Brien rose to prominence during his two-decade-long tenure as a talk-show host, which included stints on Late Night With Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien on NBC, plus Conan on CBS. After the last show ended its run in 2021, O’Brien has been hosting a podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend, in addition to recently starring in the travel show Conan O’Brien Must Go.
O’Brien announced his hosting duties in a humorous manner, saying, “America demanded it and now it’s happening: Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. In other news, I’m hosting the Oscars.” This will mark his first time serving as the Oscars host, but this is familiar ground for O’Brien, who hosted several award shows in the past, including the Emmy Awards in 2002 and 2006.
The 97th Academy Awards will return to the iconic Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 2, 2025. The Academy will announce the nominations on January 17, 2025.

]]>Bell and Brody lead this series as Joanne and Noah, a dating podcaster and an unconventional rabbi, as they find themselves in an unexpected relationship despite their differing ways of life. Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, Michael Hitcock, Tovah Feldshuh, Paul Ben-Victor, Emily Arlook, Jackie Tohn, and Sherry Cola are also a part of the show’s ensemble cast.
Nobody Wants This is loosely based on the life of its creator Erin Foster. She served as showrunner of the show’s first season with Craig DiGregorio, but they’ll be replaced by the Girls duo Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan in Season 2.
“I am excited beyond belief to be a part of Season 2 of Nobody Wants This, created by the hilarious Erin Foster. It is such a unique and beautiful show, and I am already having the best time working on it,” said Kaplan in a a statement.
Nobody Wants This debuted on September 26 with all ten episodes and quickly topped Netflix’s list of the top ten English TV shows.

]]>Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, Todd Phillips’ Joker: Folie à Deux, Pablo Larraín’s Maria, and Luca Guadagnino’s Queer were some of the films competing for the Golden Lion in Venice. This award eventually went to Almodóvar’s The Room Next Door, the tale of two women who were close friends in their youth, who meet again after years of being out of touch.
It was also a festival to remember for Nicole Kidman, who won the Volpi Cup for best actress for her performance in Babygirl, while Vincent Lindon won the Volpi Cup for best actor for The Quiet Son.
Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist was honored with the Silver Lion, while Maura Delpero’s Vermiglio walked away with the Grand Jury Prize. Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement went to the Australian filmmaker Peter Weir (Dead Poets Society, The Truman Show) and the Alien star Sigourney Weaver.
The 2024 Venice Film Festival took place between August 28 and September 7, with French actress Isabelle Huppert serving as the jury president.

]]>Based on Julia Quinn’s third Bridgerton novel An Offer From a Gentleman, the show’s next season will turn attention to Benedict Bridgerton. After years of refusing to settle down, Benedict will finally change his tune after meeting the mysterious Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Netflix is yet to share any details about this character, but Quinn’s novel introduced her as a young woman of a humble background dreaming of freedom and independence. She’s the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy earl, who failed to acknowledge her after having an inappropriate relationship with one of his maids.
Yerin Ha will lead Season 4 alongside Luke Thompson, while Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Claudia Jessie, Nicola Coughlin, Luke Newton, Golda Rosheuvel, Adjoa Andoh, Ruth Gemmell, and Hannah Dodd are expected to reprise their roles.
Ha’s list of previous TV credits is pretty short, but impressive, and includes shows Halo, Troppo, and Bad Behaviour. She’ll soon appear in another high-profile series, HBO’s Dune: Prophecy.

]]>The second season of Squid Game will take place three years after the events of the first, and it will see Seong Gi-hun aka Player 456 using his newfound fortune to find the people behind the game and put an end to their vicious sport.
Squid Game creator Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed the show will end in Season 3, which will chronicle the fierce clash between Seong Gi-hun and the Front Man.
“I am thrilled to see the seed that was planted in creating a new Squid Game grow and bear fruit through the end of this story. We’ll do our best to make sure we bring you yet another thrill ride. I hope you’re excited for what’s to come,” wrote Hwang Dong-hyuk in a statement.
Lee Jung-jae is returning in Season 2 alongside Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo, and they’ll be joined by Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an.
Season 2 of Squid Game will premiere on Netflix on December 26, followed by a third and final season in 2025.
