So many times the music is what makes the movie. Some films have an iconic soundtrack, that can actually steal the show. We created a list of best movie soundtracks ever. Here they are:

10. Romeo and Juliet

Radiohead’s Talk Show Host and the general ’90s feel puts Baz Lurhman’s adaption up there.

9. Diary of a Teenage Girl

T Rex, Television… need I go on?

8. Perks of Being a Wallflower

The iconic moment where Bowie’s Heroes plays wen they drive through the tunnel and into the city.

7. Donnie Darko

Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen etc etc.

6. The Breakfast Club

Purely for the “Simple Minds” track during that iconic, heart warming final scene.

5. Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol 1)

There are so many bangers on Star-Lord’s mix tape. We’re not surprised he is so attached to his Walkman.

4. Dazed and Confused

Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, ZZ Top. The soundtrack is as nostalgic of high school as the movie.

3. Watchmen

Simon and Garfunkel, Bob Dylan… not to mention Leonard Cohen and Nat King Cole.

2. Reservoir Dogs

Purely for the iconic torture scene, uncanningly staged to Stealer’s Wheels “Stuck in the Middle with You.”

1. Trainspotting

Lou Reed, Blur, Primal Scream.. Everyone has a track favorite from Danny Boyle’s Trainspotting (1996). If you haven’t danced around your living room belting Iggy Pop’s “Lust for Life” yet, we recommend you do so now.
