We can count on Christopher Nolan to attract an A-list ensemble to each of his projects, and his next film will be no exception. Zendaya and Anne Hathaway are eying key roles in this mystery film, joining Tom Holland and Matt Damon.
Just like all of Nolan’s films, his next project is surrounded by an air of mystery, and plot details are being kept under wraps. It’s rumored this project will start shooting in early 2025, and it’s set for a theatrical and IMAX release on July 17, 2026.
Nolan’s films have always attracted top-tier talent, and his next project will reportedly reunite him with the Oscar winner Anne Hathaway. She previously played Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rise and went on to appear in Nolan’s sci-fi epic Interstellar.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Hathaway expressed gratitude to Nolan for giving her “one of the most beautiful roles I’ve had in one of the best films that I’ve been a part of” during a time she was worried her career would lose its momentum because of the toxicity she faced online.
Nolan’s next film will also star Zendaya, the Emmy-winning star of HBO’s Euphoria and Marvel’s Spider-Man franchise. She starred in two of the year’s biggest films – Luca Guadagnino’s Challengers and Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two—and will next be seen opposite Robert Pattinson in The Drama.
