Wilson Bethel has been cast in CBS’s pilot Courthouse.

The legal drama hails from Greg Spottiswood who will write and executive produce. Mike Robin has been set as the pilot’s director. Bethel joins the previously cast Jessica Camacho.

According to Deadline, Courthouse follows the dedicated, chaotic, hopeful, and sometimes absurd lives of the judges, assistant district attorneys, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks, cops, and jurors to bring justice to the people of Los Angeles.

The Daredevil star is set to play Mark, a roguish, highly successful Deputy District Attorney whose best friend and colleague Lola has been just been appointed a judge. Never great with boundaries, Mark struggles with the personal and professional changes in their relationship.

Bethel’s other credits include the CW’s Heart of Dixie and ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club.
