Westworld has just added a serial on-screen villain to its cast.
Multiple outlets confirm that Vincent Cassel is set to join the third season of HBO’s hit sci-fi series.
Per Westworld tradition, the nature of the Ocean’s Twelve and Jason Bourne alum is kept under wraps, but The Hollywood Reporter reports that he is set to play a villain in the forthcoming season.
“We’re incredibly excited to work with Vincent Cassel,” creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy said. “We’ve been longtime fans of his and are thrilled for him to join the Westworld team.”
Cassel joins recently added Lena Waithe Aaron Paul who has boarded the show as series regulars. The Westworld cast includes stars Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, and Thandie Newton.
Season Three of Westworld isn’t expected to air until at least 2020.
