Watch Pixar’s First “Soul'” Trailer

The first trailer for Pixar’s Soul is finally here. 

Get ready to explore some of life’s biggest questions with Pixar’s upcoming animated film from Inside Out‘s Pete Docter. 

The animated existential adventure feature follows a middle school music teacher who dreams of being a jazz performer. The teacher, Joe Gardner is voiced by Jamie Foxx. 

“We only have a short time on this planet,” Foxx’s character says in the new trailer. “You want to become the person you were born to be. Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life. Spend your precious hours doing what will bring out the real you, the brilliant passionate you that’s willing to contribute something meaningful to this world.”

The voice cast also includes Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, and Daveed Diggs.

Soul hits theaters June 19, 2020.
