Season five of the blue-collar comedy is officially a full 22 episode season.
Multiple outlets report that NBC has lengthened the fifth season of Superstore with an additional four episodes order.
The episode order is not surprising because Superstore is the network’s Thursday lineup wonder averaging a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 and 3.9 million total viewers after seven days of delayed viewing according to Variety. Those numbers make it NBC’s currently airing sixth highest-rated series overall.
Superstore was created by Justin Spitzer. It stars America Ferrera, Ben Feldman, Mark McKinney, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Bloom, and Kaliko Kauahi.
