The streaming giant adds to its list of one-and-done series.
The Hollywood Reporter is first to report that Netflix has canceled two of its three IDW-produced drama series — V-Wars and October Faction, which launched on the service December 5 and January 23, respectively.
Vampire drama, V-Wars, was based on Jonathan Maberry’s, while October Faction was based on the IDW comics by Steve Niles.
While Netflix does not release viewership, it’s fair to assume that the streamer’s decision to cancel the two series follows reviews whether a financial investment in another season will be valuable.
V-Wars and October Faction joins other recently canceled series including Messiah, AJ and the Queen, Spinning Out, Soundtrack and Daybreak, and others.
