This Is Us Season 3 finale is a “special one.”

The final moments of Season 3 have been kept secret, that is until Sunday’s grand finale of PaleyFest when series creator Dan Fogelman was in a giving mood.

The season finale will “get [fans] a lot of answers,” according to Fogelman. The finale see the season’s main storylines including Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth’s (Susan Kelechi Watson) struggling marriage, Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) relationship with Zoe (Melanie Liburd) and Kate’s (Crhissy Metz) premature baby, resolved.

“I’m excited about the last episode, It’s a good one. I think you’re going to get a lot of answers for all the main characters.” Fogelman added.

“Obviously there’s a tremendous amount of attention on Randall and Beth’s storyline. There will be an answer there in terms of the long-term health of their relationship,” he said. “We have all of our storylines building to that in the last episode. It’s kind of gigantic. The last five minutes of the episode are sprawling.”

He continued: “Our world’s going to expand a little bit in a really interesting way. I think where we’re starting the season is as ambitious as we’ve been, kind of like storytelling way. We have a plan; we’re at the midpoint. We know where we’re going, we know what we’re doing. I’m more excited about the back half of the plan than the front half.”

This Is Us also stars Milo Ventimiglia (Jack), Mandy Moore (Rebecca) and Jon Huertas (Miguel).

This Is Us airs Tuesdays on NBC.
