Season 3 of The Morning Show is yet to see the light of day, but Apple TV+ bosses are putting their full trust in this show. The hit series starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon has been renewed for Season 4 after they agreed to extend their contracts.

The duo’s deals were up at the end of the upcoming third season, but they’re currently in talks to sign on for another chapter. They’re trying to work out the scheduling with Apple before finalizing the deals, and Deadline reports there’s even an option for Season 5.

Seeing Apple TV+ continue this story doesn’t come as a huge shocker given its success, especially after showrunner Kerry Ehrin told The Hollywood Reporter she could easily go years into the future or past with this story.

“It’s such an interesting little universe. You really can put it anywhere in time, and I think the challenge of the show is coming up with that big subject. Because those are real subjects. They’re not fabricated. They’re pulled from all of our lives and they greatly impacted all of us,” she explained.

The Morning Show will return for its third season this fall, with Jon Hamm, Stephen Fry, Tig Notaro, and Nicole Beharie joining the cast.
