It has been confirmed that Stan Lee will have another cameo after Captain Marvel.
The late comic book creator died last November at the age of 95. He left behind a remarkable legacy including cameos in over forty-five Marvel films. Now, Marvel boss Kevin Feige has confirmed that Stan Lee will be making more than one cameo appearance.
It became a national holiday when he was on set, up through this movie and an upcoming one as well,” Feige told press at the Captain Marvel ceremony.
Director Anna Boden also revealed to Metro that the tribute to Stan Lee in Captain Marvel is a real tearjerker.
“I don’t want to say anything I’m not supposed to say,” Boden said. “But just that it was… we did want to kind of have a moment and tribute to Stan Lee in this movie, obviously. It was something that came from Marvel and when they showed it to us, there was not a dry eye in the house. It was really emotional.”
Captain Marvel is out in cinemas Friday (March 8).
