Many of The CW’s most popular shows were stuck in limbo in the face of the network’s ownership change, but Superman and Lois is finally in the clear. The superhero drama has been renewed for its fourth season, set to feature a total of 10 episodes.

The CW Network’s president of entertainment Brad Schwartz announced they’re renewing Superman and Lois and All American: Homecoming. He expressed gratitude to their partners at Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions for their continued collaboration.

“We are thrilled to bring All American: Homecoming and Superman & Lois back to The CW. These series are two of our strongest performers across our linear and digital platforms with some of the most passionate fanbases in all of television,” said Schwartz in a statement.

Following its renewal for Season 4, Superman and Lois remains the only DC show on The CW right now. Gotham Nights wasn’t as lucky, and the network canceled it after a single season, despite its respectable ratings for a rookie show.

Superman and Lois is expected to experience several changes in Season 4 due to the network’s cost-cutting efforts. The episode count has been lowered from 13 to 10 and the number of series-regular cast members will most likely be reduced.
