The second season of The Bear created a lot of buzz when it premiered this summer, and we’ve been waiting for its renewal ever since. This show will officially have us saying “Yes, chef!” for at least another year after FX announced its Season 3 renewal.

Nick Grad, president of FX Entertainment, confirmed The Bear will stay in business for another season, and gave a shout-out to people who made it all possible.

“We’re so proud to partner with Christopher Storer, Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, and the rest of the creative team… What they and the crew have done is truly remarkable, and we and our partners at Hulu join fans in looking forward to the next chapter in the story of The Bear,” said Grad in a statement.

The Bear centers on Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a young chef who leaves the world of fine dining behind to run his family’s rundown sandwich shop in Chicago. After managing to keep the business afloat in the first season, Carmy and his crew decide to start anew in Season 2 and open up a brand-new restaurant in the same place where The Bear stood for years.

The Bear premiered to critical acclaim in 2022, and its first season has been nominated for 13 Primetime Emmy Awards, including outstanding comedy series.
