Six new cast members will appear in Hulu’s Into the Dark monthly horror series.
Deadline reports that the streaming service has tapped Corey Fogelmanis (Ma), Annie Q. (The Leftovers), Jessi Case (Mother’s Day), Julian Works (9-1-1), Philip Labes (The OA), and Hugo Armstrong (Fear the Walking Dead) to star in its School Spirit installment out August 2nd.
The episode follows a group of social outcasts who are stuck in weekend detention and then confronted by the school’s legendary hauntings. The Mike Gan-helmed installment was penned by Patrick Casy and Josh Miller.
The project consists of 12 movie-length episodes that will be released monthly over one year. According to the outlet, each installment will be inspired by a holiday and will feature Blumhouse’s signature thriller spin on the story.
