Multiple outlets confirm that Richard Madden is in negotiations to join Marvel’s The Eternals.
Should he board the project, the Game of Thrones and Bodyguard star will join Angelina Jolie and Kumail Nanjiani in the Chloe Zhao-directed feature.
Set millions of years in the past, it follows the cosmic beings known as the Celestials, who genetically experimented on humans to create super-powered individuals known as the Eternals, along with the villainous Deviants. The two groups battled each other throughout history. The comic was created by Jack Kirby in 1976.
Marvel had no comment regarding the casting.
