Most long-time fans of The Simpsons will know Moe Szyslak as the grumpy bartender who is always negative. He has not had an easy life and is a loner, however for the first time in 29-years, we will be introduced to his father.

An upcoming episode of the Simpsons will star Ray Liotta as Morty Szyslak, a more cunning and evil version of his son and helped mold Moe into the grumpy character which he is. The show is set to be broadcast in April and will also feature Debi Mazar voicing Moe’s sister Minnie.

The Simpsons executive director Matt Selman teased the possibility of the Moe episode earlier on this year, describing it as a “Shakespearean family drama set against the backdrop of a fading mattress store empire.”

As Moe and Shakespeare do not go together, this promises to be a great and very entertaining episode.
