Disney has just dropped a new trailer for Aladdin and we finally get to see Will Smith in his Genie glory!
The latest look at the live-action adaptation of the Disney classic finally reveals Smith in full magical Genie form. The trailer was dropped during the Grammys on Sunday night following a first-look teaser for Aladdin way back in October.
The character of whimsical Genie was voiced by legendary Robin Williams in the 1992 original. According to Deadline, Aladdin was the highest-grossing film of that year and the first animated feature to cross the half-billion mark.
Also featured in the trailer are Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar. Nasim Pedrad, Billy Magnussen and Numan Acar also star in the film.
Aladdin is directed by Guy Ritchie from a script penned by John August. The film will feature the original songs as well as some new music fro, composer Alan Menken.
Aladdin hits theaters May 24, 2019, but until then — watch the trailer below!
