Netflix has ordered a new anthology series based on the music of Dolly Parton.

The show will span across eight episodes and Parton will executive produce, co-star and serve as singer and songwriter for the show.

“As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music,” Parton said in a statement. “I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros. TV for their incredible support.”

The anthology is not the first time Parton has teamed up with Warner Bros. They worked together on her 2015 made-for-TV movie Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors as well as Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love in 2016.

We are not sure what to expect from the show, but we know that every episode will be based on one of her iconic songs. A premiere date for the new series has not yet been announced.
