Netflix Extends Movie Deal with Adam Sandler

Netflix announces that it has extended its movie deal with Adam Sandler his Happy Madison Productions.

Under the deal, Sandler will make four more original films in the future for the streamer. 

“Whether you know him as Sandman, the Water Boy, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, Nick Spitz or simply Adam, one thing is clear: our members can’t get enough of him,” said Ted Sarandos, Netflix chief content officer. “They love his stories and his humor, as we saw with Murder Mystery. So I could not be more excited to extend our partnership with Adam and the Happy Madison team and deliver more laughs around the world.”

Sandler’s total of six features with Netflix including The Ridiculous 6, The Do-Over, Sandy Wexler, The Week Of, and the upcoming Hubie Halloween in addition to his Murder Mystery, which was according to Netflix, its most popular title in the US in 2019.
