Steve Harvey has been replaced as the host of NBC’s Little Big Shots.

Multiple outlets confirm that Melissa McCarthy has been set to replace Harvey as the host of the unscripted talent competition for kids. The series, which hails from Warner Horizon Television and Ellen DeGeneres’ A Very Good Production banner is set to return to NBC for its fourth season.

“Melissa’s just an incredible performer and incredible comedian,” NBC’s co-chairman of entertainment Paul Telegdy said in a statement. He continued saying that McCarthy “will bring a completely fresh perspective to it. Melissa is a strong creative force with her own ideas. Changes will be apparent.”

“Shows always go through an evolution and I know Meredith and the team in our Alternative division will come up with all sorts of fun ways to evolve the creative of the show because we feel that Melissa is a strong creative force with her own ideas about what the show should look like and changes will be apparent,” Telegdy added.

A date for the series’ return has not been announced.
