Mckenna Grace joins Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard in the forthcoming remake of Ghostbusters.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Grace will play the daughter of Coon’s single mother, and the younger sister to Wolfhard, in the family-centered feature. While very little is known about the plot, since the film is described as a sequel to the 1980s movies, it’s safe to assume that the family will have a connection to the original story.

Co-writing the script are Reitman and Gil Kenan. Reitman will also direct.

The film stars shooting this summer and is slated for a July 10, 2020, release.

The young actress is currently starring as a young Carol Danvers in Capitan Marvel. Her other credits include Gifted, the kid version of Tonya Harding in I, Tonya, mini Sabrina in Netflix’s The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and TV roles on Fuller House, Designated Survivor, and The Young and the Restless.
