Marvel boss Kevin Feige has revealed that the future of MCU is being kept under wraps until after Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Homecoming have hit cinemas.

This is presumably in order to keep the conclusion of Endgame a surprise. Marvel fans have already been coming to their own conclusions regarding the lack of Iron Man in the Spider-Man trailer. Given just how many characters were wiped out in the shocking cliffhanger of Infinity War, it makes sense that Marvel would want to keep it a secret who comes back and who stays dead.

“As we’ve been doing for years, we aren’t going to announce anything post-Avengers: Endgame or Spider-Man until post-Endgame and Spider-Man,” Feige revealed to ComicBook.com.

“As you know as a fan, there’s a tremendous amount of potential and a tremendous amount of additional characters and storylines and groups of characters that we’re going to keep playing with. And again, that’s a testament to Marvel and to the amount of storylines and characters and amazing, amazing runs that have been in the Marvel comics.”

What we can be sure of is that the third Guardians of The Galaxy movie along with a sequel to Doctor Strange and Black Panther have been planned. Black Widow is also anticipated to make her solo debut.
