Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aka Zach Morris, from Saved By the Bell says he’s “open” bringing back the teen sitcom.

While admitting that reboots aren’t really his cup of tea, “I like original content… me personally, I don’t know the desire to see any of these reboots,” he did add that he could be convinced to reboot Saved By the Bell.

The 45-year-old actor said on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, “Absolutely. If it was a good product that I felt wouldn’t tarnish the original product, then yeah. I’m open to hearing anything. I love what they’ve done with Cobra Kai. That type of reboot is what I would be interested in exploring.”

Saved Be the Bell originally ran on NBC from 1989 to 1993. It followed a group of high school friends and starred Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen, and Elizabeth Berkley.
