Leslie Jones is joining a stellar lineup of comedians who have teamed up with Netflix for comedy specials.
The Saturday Night Live star announced that she will headline an hour-long stand-up comedy special Thursday on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!
“I am doing a Netflix special,” she excitedly announced to Kimmel. “So ya’ll finally get to see what I really do.” She also reminded fans that while “it’s great to be an actress” she’s “actually a stand-up, hardcore. That’s what pay the bills.”
Jones joins hour-long special follows the streamer’s roster that includes Best Time of Our Lives with Adam Devine, Live: Your Welcome with Miranda Sings, Son of Patricia with Trevor Noah, Homecoming King with Hasan Minhaj, Growing with Amy Schumer, Make Happy with Bo Burnham, and Noble Ape with Jim Gaffigan.
Producing is Jesse Collins Entertainment. The comedy special is set to launch globally on Netflix in 2020.
