Lesley Manville, Kayli Carter, Jeffrey Donovan, and Will Brittain have joined Let Him Go from Focus Features.

Thomas Bezucha-helmed suspense thriller is based on the Larry Watson novel by the same name. Bezucha is directing from his own script.

The four join previously cast Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, the film’s leads.

The film follows retired sheriff (Costner) and wife (Lane). After the loss of their son, the couple leaves their Montana ranch to rescue their young grandson from the clutches of a dangerous family living off the grid in the Dakotas. When they arrive, they discover the family has no intention of letting the child go.

Manville will play Blanche Weboy, the matriarch of the villainous family; Brittain and Donovan will play her sons. Carter will play Lorna, Costner and Lane’s daughter-in-law.

Shooting is currently underway in Calgary.
