The Frozen actor has been cast in The Matrix 4.

Multiple outlets confirmed that Jonathan Groff is set to star in the forthcoming film in The Matrix franchise.

Little is known of the upcoming film, including Groff’s role. It’s known that Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss will reprise their roles as Neo and Trinity. Aquaman‘s Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has also joined the franchise as a lead, with some unconfirmed reports saying that he’ll play a young Morpheus. Jada Pinkett Smith returns as Niobe, and Jessica Henwick and Neil Patrick Harris are also in the cast.

The new film is set to revive the successful franchise after a 16-year hiatus. Lana Wachowski returns as director and is co-writing the script with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell.
