Jessica Alba has been tapped to lead Netflix’s forthcoming feature Trigger Warning.
The action-thriller will be directed by Mouly Surya from a script by Josh Olson and John Brancato. Surya is best known for helming the Cannes entry Marlina the Murderer in Four Acts. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee are producing, with Alba executive producing.
According to Variety, Alba is set to play a “traumatized veteran who inherits her grandfather’s bar, and is faced with a moral dilemma after discovering the truth behind his untimely death.”
Alba is best known for her roles in James Cameron’s Dark Angel series. Her film credits include Sin City and Fantastic Four. Alba currently stars in LA’s Finest.
