13 Going On 30 is one of the classic rom-coms we couldn’t stop watching back in the ‘2000s, and everyone still remembers it fondly – including its stars. The lead actress Jennifer Garner paid touching tribute to this beloved teen flick, just in time for its 15th anniversary.
This film originally premiered on April 23, 2004, and told the story of a 13-year old teen, who wakes up as a 30-year-old woman after making an unconventional birthday wish. In addition to Jennifer Garner, 13 Going On 30 also starred Mark Ruffalo, Judy Greer, and Andy Serkis.
The leading lady celebrated its anniversary with a moving Instagram post and used it to give a shout-out to many of the people who made this movie possible. Garner also recalled some of her favorite moments from the set, and it was a joy reading how vividly she still remembers the whole experience.
“I
feel so, so lucky to have had the experience of making this joyful movie. And
even luckier to be part of something that, all of these years later, can still
make people smile,” wrote Garner.
